Peters Fraser Dunlop logoThe Lucy Cavendish Fiction Prize is sponsored by Peters Fraser and Dunlop (PFD), one of the longest-established literary and talent agencies in London.

Their generous support and vision for the Prize has enabled many shortlisted and winning authors to begin successful literary careers.

PFD agent Nelle Andrew is a leading champion of the Prize and served on the judging panel in 2015, 2016 and again in 2017. She kindly provides valuable industry insight to shortlisted authors, through one-to-one consultations where she shares editorial feedback and discusses the marketability of their work.

Always on the look-out for new writing talent, Nelle works with a wide variety of authors. What they all have in common is an original story and a strong narrative voice, with compelling characters and a page turning premise. Her current list spans Sunday Times bestsellers, Richard and Judy Book Club picks – including 2013 Lucy Cavendish Fiction Prize winner, The Well by Catherine Chanter – and other acclaimed novels.

As part of the 2017 judging panel, Nelle will be looking for unique storytelling and compelling prose – perhaps her next bestseller?
