Peaches, witches and crocodiles come to supper
by Jen Aggleton on 3 November 2016
The Children’s Literature Society ran a popular themed supper last week to celebrate Roald Dahl’s centenary. The evening was compered by a rather scary Mrs Trunchbull and other special guests included James’ Giant Peach (pictured), a few witches, Matilda, Sophie and an enormous crocodile.
The catering team rose to the Roald Dahl challenge with a George's Marvellous Medicine Mocktail and Fantastic Mr Fox’s Roast Chicken, and entertainment included colouring sheets, a name game and music.
