Domestic Research Studentship
Lucy Cavendish participates in the University Domestic Research Studentship scheme, and will support up to two DRS studentships every year. This scheme is open to UK and EU students who wish to undertake
postgraduate research in any subject at the University of Cambridge. Students must be registered as PhD or prospective PhD candidates, and must be nominated by their Department or Faculty. This studentship provides support which includes University and College fees for UK and EU students, plus a maintenance stipend for UK applicants.
Lord Frederick Cavendish
For postgraduate research in any subject. Two or more studentships to cover the cost of College fees, open to women accepted to undertake postgraduate research in any subject at the University of Cambridge. This studentship is tenable for up to three years, conditional on satisfactory academic progress.
Becker Law
Three scholarships by competition, of a value of £1,000 a year, open to women accepted by the Law Faculty at the University of Cambridge to read for the LLM degree.
Dorothy and Joseph Needham
For postgraduate research in Natural Sciences. One studentship, which will cover the cost of College fees, open to a woman accepted to undertake postgraduate research in Natural Sciences at the University of Cambridge. Preference will be given to those undertaking research in Biochemistry or related fields. This studentship is tenable for up to three years, conditional on satisfactory academic progress.
Enterprise Studentships
Two scholarships by competition, of a value of £1,000 a year, open to women accepted on the MBA course and on the MPhil in Bioscience Enterprise. One of these is open to candidates from the US and Canada only, the other has no restrictions.
Evelyn Povey
For postgraduate research in any field related to Medieval or Renaissance French Writing. One studentship, which will cover the cost of College fees, to a woman accepted to undertake postgraduate research on Medieval or Renaissance French Writing in any field at the University of Cambridge. This studentship is tenable for up to three years, conditional on satisfactory academic progress.
Mastermann-Braithwaite
For postgraduate research in Linguistics. One studentship, which will cover the cost of College fees, to a woman accepted to undertake postgraduate research in Linguistics at the University of Cambridge. This studentship is tenable for up to three years, conditional on satisfactory academic progress.
