I am from Brighton, and came to Lucy Cavendish with OU credits, having previously worked in fundraising.  I’m doing Archaeology and Biological Anthropology, which is great for tying together my interests in genetics, human ecology and human evolution. The course is really diverse – I’m never bored. It also offers lots of opportunities to handle archaeological objects, and covers a huge span of time, starting seven million years in the past! Because my department is small, I’ve met loads of people, at every level, which has given me the chance to participate in archaeological activities outside the course, and I’m lucky that Lucy Cavendish has an Archaeology Fellow. The College is really friendly, and I recommend Saturday Brunch...
