Lucy Cavendish offers potential appplicants a range of opportunities to meet our Admissions team and seek help in preparing an application.  We will accept applications from men and women of age 18+ from October 2020 and everyone is welcome at our admissions events.

TEACHERS' CONFERENCE, THURSDAY 28 NOVEMBER 2019 

The afternoon conference will take place from 12-3pm and aims to equip educators with the best possible advice for their students on applying to Cambridge and to break down any misconceptions that might deter students from applying to the University. Sessions are led by academics and admissions staff, all with extensive first-hand knowledge of the admissions process. All attendees will be offered a complimentary lunch. HE21+ PROGRAMME, THURSDAY 28 NOVEMBER 2019 & WEDNESDAY 7 JANUARY 2020

Our FREE programme will provide students currently studying an Access to Higher Education course in either Humanities or Social Sciences with the unique opportunity to attend subject masterclasses and information and guidance sessions at Lucy Cavendish College over the course of a year, these visits will be interspersed with optional mentoring sessions. ENGINEERING EXPERIENCE DAY, WEDNESDAY 18 MARCH 2020

Our Engineering Experience Day is an annual event offering Year 9 students from state schools in Norfolk an opportunity to visit one of the world’s leading universities for engineering. Find out more here. 

ADMISSIONS CLINICS for potential applicants age 19+ held throughout the year

Our Admissions Clinics give potential applicants of age 19+ an opportunity to meet our Admissions team in person at Lucy Cavendish and learn more about the entrance requirements, admissions process, and how to make a strong application. We offer a range of dates throughout the year and places can be booked here.  Our Admissions Clinic in January is for potential applicants who have not yet applied to Cambridge at UCAS.

SKYPE 1-1 WITH OUR ADMISSIONS DIRECTOR held throughout the year

Potential applicants of age 19+ who aren't able to travel to Cambridge for one of our admissions events can book an informal Skype chat with our Admissions Director to learn more about the entrance requirements and how to make a strong application.  Book your Skype 1-1 here.  If the timing is difficult for your time zone please contact our Admissions Office to arrange an alternative.  Our Skype 1:1s in November are for potential applicants who have not yet applied to Cambridge at UCAS.

UNIVERSITY OF CAMBRIDGE OPEN DAYS - ADMISSIONS WORKSHOP, JULY 2020

Lucy Cavendish College will be open from 9:30am – 4:30pm on both of the Cambirdge Open Days in July to all visitors. You will have the opportunity to tour the College, enjoy complimentary refreshments and meet Admissions staff. Including being open, we will also be hosting an admissions workshop on the first day of the Open Days for potential mature applicants (21+). Bookings for the Admissions Workshop will open here in Spring 2020.

GRADUATE COURSE IN MEDICINE OPEN MORNING, SEPTEMBER 2020

Lucy Cavendish, Hughes Hall, St Edmunds, and Wolfson Colleges hold a joint admissions event for the Cambridge Graduate Courses in Medicine annually in September. Places can be booked here from early Summer 2020.

OXBRIDGE EVENT IN LONDON FOR MATURE APPLICANTS, SEPTEMBER 2020

Harris Manchester College, Oxford and the four mature Colleges at Cambridge - Lucy Cavendish, Hughes Hall, St Edmunds, Wolfson College host an admissions event in September for prospective mature students (21+) who are interested in applying to either Oxford or Cambridge. The event includes information about studying at Oxford or Cambridge, the application process and an opportunity to meet with Fellows, Admission Tutors and students. laces can be booked here from early Summer 2020.

CAMBRIDGE POSTGRAD OPEN DAY, NOVEMBER 2020

OFFER-HOLDERS & OTHER EVENTS

Offer-holders are invited to a student-led event in late April.
