Welcome to the first edition of Nautilus, the Lucy Cavendish College Alumnae Association newsletter.
Our alumnae represent a wide range of careers, ages, nationalities and personal backgrounds but what we all have in common is that we are linked forever to the only university college in Europe specialising in the education and professional development of women aged 21 and over.
As President of the Alumnae Association, my aim is to both strengthen the links between the Alumnae and the current students and encourage Alumnae to stay in touch and remain actively involved in College events; this newsletter is a way of furthering those aims.
We have a committee consisting of enthusiastic alumnae from various cohorts and subjects working hard to keep in touch
with you and organise Alumnae events.
These include events at the annual Alumnae weekend in September and in 2015 for the 50th Anniversary celebrations.
We will also continue to reward students with Alumnae Association prizes and support students to fulfill their dreams with the Alumnae Association bursary, if you would like information about contributing to the Bursary please contact the Development Office.
I look forward to meeting you at one of our events soon. In the meantime, please keep in touch and share your news with our community. Best wishes Julie McDonald, President.
