At this term's Anna Bidder Research Evening Dr Helen Roche's talk Childhood under Nazism: The Challenges of Using Eyewitness Testimony will explore the oral history research for her current book project (forthcoming with OUP), entitled The Third Reich's Elite Schools: A History of the Napolas.

Research Fellow, Dr Yvonne Zivkovic's talk is entitled Beyond Leitkultur — How Eastern European Migrant Writers Negotiate Heritage and Belonging in Germany.

The talks begin at 7.15pm and finish by 8.30pm with time for questions included.

Refreshments and supper in the dining hall available before the event. Drinks will be served from 6pm in the Anna Bidder Room. Please email Isobel Maddison, Vice President to reserve your place. Drinks are served from 6pm in the Anna Bidder room. Supper with wine, or non-alcoholic alternative, is through the servery at 6.30pm. Tables will be reserved in the dining hall. Those without a college card can pay for supper through the till. All drinks are provided.
